Methods and Activities: | Each class will share their monsters and what they found easy to follow in the instructions and what they thought was confusing. |
Responsibilities: | The teachers will test the equipment, model how to write instructions, help their class create instructions for a monster, exchange instructions with the other teacher, help their students create the monster, and polycom with the second class. The students will all be involved in creating instructions for a monster and creating a monster while following the other class's instructions. |
Agenda: | 5 min. Welcome and introductions. Each class shares their location and brief information about their school. Visuals: Use the document camera or PowerPoint to share a few pictures of local interest. 5 min. Question and answer. Each class has prepared questions for the other on their respective locations and schools. 15 min. Interaction. Take turns sharing their monsters. 5 min. Compare and contrast their monsters. |
