 | We are looking for K-3 teachers, from countries outside the US, interested in participating in an online collaboration project we are putting together for the coming school year called, "Playgrounds around the World." The overall intent of this project is to encourage communication and collaboration from classroom to classroom around the world. We have decided to focus on “Playgrounds around the World” as our project topic. Our team consists of a Kindergarten, second and third grade teacher as well as our school librarian and guidance counselor. Through this project we hope to help our students: improve their communication skills, use school playgrounds as a lens through which they can better see how people adapt to their environment, appreciate the potential of digital media and environments to communicate and work collaboratively with people around the world and better understand and appreciate that they are alike and different from other people in many different ways. |

Meetings could be weekly, monthly, or some other time frame. We have a Distance Learning Center, but would be open to other options (Skype, etc.).
