Objective of Collaboration		I work with over 30 Pre-K classrooms in Newport News, Virginia and I have many who are looking for partners to collaborate with on a video conference. For the remaining school year we will be covering the following themes: Spring/Weather, Recycling, Plants, and Ocean Animas. Grades 1-3: Monster Madness with Adjectives!

Objective of Collaboration		We're seeking a partner class to help us learn about adjectives with 3 separate activities: 1. Partner classes will exchange a list of adjectives. Each class will build a monster embodying at least 5 adjectives from the list, using available classroom materials. 2. Both classes will read a book about monsters (example- Jitterbug Jam: A Monster Tale, Monsters Don't Eat Broccoli). Each student will write a Response to Literature. 3. On video conference day, each class will reveal their monsters while the partner class guesses which adjectives were chosen, based on appearance. Select students will share their response to literature piece with their partner classmates.
