| Objective of Collaboration | Our 2nd grade class would like to collaborate with another 2nd grade class in the study of Earth Materials (Rocks and Soil specifically). We will observe and describe the basic properties and components of rocks and soil. We will also investigate different types of soil and compare different types of rocks. Each class will work on a different aspect and then Skype to share what we have learned. We can also set up a wikispace to share information and have discussions online. Since I am a technology teacher and only see this class once per week, we would be Skyping and collaborating on Tuesdays @ 1:00 to 1:50.
