| Objective of Collaboration | The 5th grade teachers (14) at Paine Intermediate School in Trussville, Alabama are looking for partner classes to communicate during their learning of the Civil War through writing historical journal entries using blogs or e-mail and Skype/video conference in April. At the end of their study, we would like to Skype/ video conference where the students take on the personality of famous people during the Civil War to discuss their thoughts, ideas, etc. or just discuss their understanding of the causes, events, feeling of the Civil War. We are especially looking to collaborate with students in the northern states. | |
