Objective of Collaboration I have created two blogs (one for Economics & one for Sociology) through which my classes will collaborate with a partnering school. I have had inquiries from both South Africa & Australia that seem very promising. Even if you do not have these subjects, I suggest looking at my blogs to see how I set up the collaboration process. I believe that you will find them to be very useful methods for collaborating. I would certainly love any feedback that anyone has.
Proposal for a teacher and their classes outside of the US to cooperate with me and my Economics Classes for this Spring Semester, beginning January 19th, 2011
This cooperation will include asynchronous video communications, class blogs and synchronous communications if possible.

Course Curriculum
I would like to have a Chinese class that will mirror my class schedule; this means that both of our classes would be working on the same subject matter and materials at the same time. I willing to modify the curriculum if my partnering teacher would like to 1) add or remove any topics; 2) change the order of the topics. I have supplied detailed curriculum for both classes, but I am willing to modify these. I envision my students and students from our partnering class in China will work together for the entire semester, at least twice a week.
