Gr 1 Tour Our School

I would like to share video tours of our schools with other 1st grade classes. My class will be creating a Photostory project and posting it on Glogster and would like to collaborate with other classes working on this same or a similar project.

We have the ability to videoconference if this is desired.

K-6 Author Mystery Quest

Students will create and participate in an Author Mystery Quest. Classes will choose a book within a given genre. The students will research the authors birthplace and other facts. Students will use Google Earth to post flags identifying the authors birthplace. Then they will write a set of clues for other classes to help them discover the authors birthplace. Along with posting the location, students also include a book review (as a skit, play, poster...etc.)

Subjects: Language Arts/English, Social Studies/History
