PreK, K, 1 Name the zoo or circus animal

I have several Pre-K classrooms interested in connecting with a Pre-K to 1st grade classroom for the following video conference idea. Each class will select 4-6 different zoo and circus animals to research. As students research their animal they would come up with verbal or written clues about the animal along with ways to act out how the animal moves or even the sounds they make. When classrooms connect for the video conference, groups of students will present their animal clues, movements and/or sounds for the other class to guess their animal. As each class guesses, they will then determine if the animal is a zoo animal, circus animal or could be both which will be visualized on a venn diagram that we will make available via a computer connected to our system. At the beginning of the video conference, classrooms can share some brief information about their school and the weather that day.

March 22nd - March 30th (date and time will be set up between connecting teachers)
