Grades 1-5: Wisconsin Classrooms Travel the Earth


Description:Multiple Wisconsin classrooms are seeking similar grade level partners around the country to learn more about each others corner of the United States. Collaborating teachers will work together to develop a shared agenda for the video conference in order to meet both classroom's goals.

Grades 11-12: Design Critique - Student Web Sites


Description:We are a Career-Technical Education center in Southern NH. Our Graphic Design program includes a section on web site design. We would be interested in having students from other schools evaluate and critique our students' projects.

Prior to the event, we would send URLs for the student sites, and then use our Distance Learning Center (video conferencing center) for a live critique.

Description:Time to pack your suitcase!
Hays CISD in Kyle, Texas is seeking out of state partners for a Kindergarten Community Exchange. What better way to learn about another community than to talk to the kids that live there. Each student in the class will contribute to a classroom suitcase of items that represent your community. Connect with another class via videoconferencing and share your stories! Visit the wiki for specific times, ideas of what to include in your suitcase and a T chart you can use to compare and contrast the communities after the videoconference.

We are looking to have a Myth Video Conference about the Popol Vuh: on Wednesday May 11 12 Noon Central Daylight, 11: 00 Central Standard, and 1:00 pm Eastern.
