Grades 1 & 5: Celebrate Reading Videoconference

Read Across the Planet Style Videoconferences

1. We have a first grade class in New York who would like to celebrate reading by connecting for a Read Across the Planet videoconference with another class. Our first grade wrote descriptive poems about non-fiction topics without stating the non-fiction topic they describe. Each first grader will read his/her poem and then our partner class can try to guess our science topic from our poetic clues. We would love for our partner class to then do any type of presentation celebrating reading for us. We hope to make this connection via IP on Friday, April 9 anytime between 9:15-11:15 EST. However, if you are interested and this time is inconvenient we will gladly work to find a mutually convenient time. Thanks

We hope to make this connection via IP on Tuesday, April 13 from between 9:30-10:30 EST. However, if you are interested and this time is inconvenient we will gladly work to find a mutually convenient time. Thanks
