Objective of Collaboration My Film as Literature class will be viewing American History X in the near future, and I would like to be able to offer a collaboration project on tolerance. I would like to either collaborate with an inner city school for a dialogue on race relations and hate crimes or to jointly develop an action plan to implement to teach tolerance. This might include jointly building a Facebook site to generate ways to help people get along with one another and/or creating a project to implement. I am open to suggestions. My students attend an Alternative School, so they know about hardships and being looked at judgmentally...as well as judging.
