Grades 9-12: Virtual Tour of University Physiology Research Lab


Description:Welcome to a University Physiology Research Lab!
Ever wonder how cool science discoveries are made? Or what it would be like to do new, cutting-edge research? Join us at the University of Alberta for a tour of a real laboratory, where we use a broad foundation of knowledge and various lab techniques to explore the intricacies of vision. Using lab tools based in genetics, physiology, neurology, physics and developmental biology, we will explore the zebrafish and its potential to aid in preventing blindness in humans.

Includes live demos, live embryos and a question period afterwards!
