| Objective of Collaboration | Heart Lake Secondary School is located just outside of the Toronto, Ontario, Canada. One of the focuses of the school this past year has been on the topic of antibullying. The students here have been entertained by rappers, speakers and teachers on problems associated with bullying (cyber, peer, sports related). We are interested in hosting a conference related to bullying. The conference would start with a sharing of most common bullying tactics in your local schools along with specific strategies that your school has taken to alleviate this continual problem. Then leadership students at Heart Lake would present an antibullying presentation. We may also have an outside presenter talk about the topic as well. We are looking at a January Timeline for the conference (after we return from Christmas/New Years). We are located in EST. | |
