Description:
Our fifth grade class is reading Number the Stars by Louis Lowry. We are looking for another 5th grade class, who has already read the book or who is finishing up to exchange ideas about the book. The video conference would include introduction of the 2 classes and basic discussion questions.This project would be a culminating discussion on themes like the personal courage of ordinary people; tolerance/intolerance, etc. We could also mention personal connections from our lives that we make with the text.
Dates:The VC would take place between March 7th and April 7
